Today is a really exciting day.

EdShift's new website is officially live.

Over the past few months we have been working closely with Elle Bee and the team to create a website that truly reflects the organisation EdShift has become.

This wasn't just about designing a new website.

Together, we rethought the messaging, rewrote every page of copy, created bespoke donation pages, refined the user experience and brought everything together so the website better represents their mission, impact and ambitions for the future.

Working with organisations like EdShift is exactly why we do what we do.

Their commitment to supporting children and young people affected by domestic abuse is inspiring, and it's a privilege to play an ongoing part in helping tell that story.

A huge thank you to Ellie and everyone at EdShift for trusting us throughout the project.

We can't wait to see where this next chapter takes you.

We spent today in Manchester watching Ai Weiwei's Sewing a Button.

It's a 24-hour performance re-enacting his life changing experience in a Chinese detention centre in 2011. We were lucky enough to witness around two hours of it and saw part of his interrogations.

Knowing the story behind the work and his life experiences makes watching this re-enactment so powerful.

For us, it was a reminder of how fragile personal freedoms can be and why Ai Weiwei's work continues to resonate with so many people. His lifelong commitment to questioning authority and championing human rights runs through everything he creates.

We love visiting experiences like this, they challenge the way we think, leads us to ask difficult questions and encourages us to see the world from different perspectives.

These experiences shape our own creativity. Maybe not in obvious ways, but in how we think, communicate and approach every piece of work we create.

What an honour to see such an incredible artist up close and personal.

A lovely afternoon celebrating Angela's retirement at WomenCentre and catching up with some wonderful people. ❤️

We were honoured to be part of the celebrations and to hear about Angela's incredible career, the lives she's touched, and the difference she's has made over so many years to women and girls affected by domestic abuse.

It was also a chance to catch up with some genuinely brilliant people who always bring warmth, positivity and energy wherever they go.

One part of Angela's speech has stayed with us.

She said that what she'd achieved wouldn't have been possible without the right people around her.

That really resonated.

Behind every success is usually a network of people who encourage us, challenge us, share the workload, open doors and believe in us when things feel difficult.

Working with purpose-led organisations every day, we see this time and time again. Real impact comes from collaboration, trust and people pulling together towards a shared goal. It's one of the many reasons we're so passionate about working in this sector.

Congratulations, Angela, on everything you've contributed over the years and on a remarkable career. Wishing you every happiness in your retirement. ❤️

Towards the last quarter we launched a rebrand and website restructure and redesign for the amazing charity North Halifax Partnership

The full case study is now live on our website.

North Halifax Partnership is a community-focused charity based in Halifax, dedicated to improving the health, wellbeing, and opportunities of people across the local area.

Having recently celebrated their 25th anniversary and having an expansion, they wanted a refreshed identity and a new website that truly reflected the scale, impact, and value of the work they deliver within the community.

Visually, the brand felt outdated and lacked a clear, distinctive identity, often leading to confusion rather than clarity. They approached us as they knew we would provide a more bold, colourful and engaging aesthetic that would celebrate and reflect their services and values.

Our approach began with North Halifax Partnership’s four core values. Collaboration, Local & Green, Inclusivity, and Empowerment.

These values sit at the heart of everything NHP delivers, and they became the foundation for both the brand identity and the website. We translated each value into a series of bespoke icons, which together form a modern, crest-style logo system.

You can read all about the full project on our website, but some of the project highlights include:

✔️ Accessibility-led design approach applied consistently from brand identity through to website design

✔️ Bespoke iconography, image masks, patterns, and graphic elements developed specifically for the new brand

✔️ Complete website restructure to improve user experience and give the team confidence in managing content

✔️ Intuitive events calendar and booking system that is easy to update and manage

✔️ Fully responsive website design that delivers a seamless experience across all devices

They said:

"Our new brand and website have already received so many compliments, and we’re confident it will help us make a big impact."
