Our brilliant client, Leiths Education, is breaking down barriers and making cooking more accessible for primary schools with the launch of their new Primary Cookery Programme. 👩🍳
Designed to empower the next generation in the kitchen, the programme gives children the opportunity to develop practical, hands-on skills while building confidence and curiosity through cooking.
Why does it matter?
Leiths is helping to level the playing field for schools, creating more opportunities for pupils to learn essential cooking techniques, explore food in a meaningful way, and develop independence that extends beyond the classroom.
On supporting the launch, our Director added: “As a father of two young children, it’s genuinely encouraging to see Leiths championing cookery education at such an early stage. Cookery has long been undervalued in schools, despite its clear benefits to children’s development. Their pilot programme, now delivered in over 45 schools, has shown measurable improvements in skills such as following instructions, independent working and teamwork, alongside increased engagement in subjects like maths and science. Opening this programme to primary schools for free is a hugely positive step, and we’re incredibly proud to be working with a brand so committed to making a real difference.”
