The design process

I love working with great people to help their business thrive. I work closely with all my clients in order to create high-quality work that meets the objectives and develop a long-lasting relationship.

“Communication is key throughout the design process by both myself and the client, I welcome any feedback and questions you may have”.

Here are my steps:

Setting the Brief
This is a critical stage of discovery and learning, which consists of a discussion between client and designer. This stage enables me to understand the business I am designing for, and get to know who I will be working with. We will work together to identify and agree on project objectives, deliverables, deadlines and budget etc.

Research & Ideas
I will then review all the information from the brief and begin looking at styles, competitors and trends etc which could influence the ideas. I will select and develop the strongest ideas and present them to you explaining my thought process and evaluating against the brief. Feedback from the client will follow.

Development
Together, we evaluate the concepts against the brief. Any amendments are made to the chosen visuals and submitted for sign off. This is where the design really comes to life.

Finalisation & Delivery
This is the most rewarding part. Once you are happy, which is the most important part, I will supply all final artwork files, or supply to the printer. I like to build long-term relationships with all my clients, so once we have launched your project, we can both monitor the growth and impact – and find other ways to work together.

I need a logo designing

Anyone starting a business would have gotten the suggestion to invest in getting a logo although some people fail to realise that having a logo is just the initial step of building a memorable brand identity.

A logo is the keystone of your brand and no matter what type of brand or business you own, it is important to have a professionally designed logo. Without one, your audience will not be able to identify your company, let alone allow you to outweigh your competitors.

“A well-designed logo has the ability to bring in more revenue (indirectly), improve customer retention rates and allows people to trust you as a credible brand”.

When it comes to logo design, Creative i believe it’s always best to keep it simple. This helps with legibility and versatility. In today’s age, technology is always changing and evolving, so we as designers need to create logos that transcend paper. How to design packaging

Product packaging design refers to the creation of the exterior of a product. That includes choices in material and form as well as graphics, colours and fonts that are used on wrapping, a box, a can, a bottle or any kind of container.

It’s a practical tool, yes. (I mean, how else are you going to effectively get beer into your mouth?) But it’s also more than that. Like any good design, packaging tells a story. It’s also a sensual experience, literally engaging us through sight, touch and sound (and possibly smell and taste, depending on the product/package). All of these details help us understand what the enclosed product is for, how it should be used, who should use it and, maybe most importantly if we should buy a product or not.

“Consumers act when a brand makes them feel something. When someone looks at you, you’re compelled to look back to determine the nature of the attraction”.

From Creative i’s point of view, packaging design is how the brand’s design is reflected in the product boxes. In this sense, the design concept needs to attract the attention of a customer, but also provide information about the product. Packaging graphics should also take the brand’s design and motives and show it off on the box. Product packaging design is a lot more than a simple plastic bag or cardboard box. Tomorrow is the first day of August and Yorkshire Day. As a keen cyclist, I have the enormous pleasure of being able to ride and enjoy the natural beauty of our fair county. With its incredible terrain and countryside, Yorkshire’s has it all.

My passion for design has inspired me to create a poster, to celebrate cycling and Yorkshire. Influenced by the iconic imagery of the 'Tour de France'. With its endless fields of sunflowers, dissected by a raging peloton.

Who can ever forget the 'Grandest Depart'? Or the 'Tour de Yorkshire'? Which has exposed our great county to a worldwide audience and rekindled our love for the bicycle? Unfortunately due to current circumstance, it wasn’t to be this year. But that doesn’t stop you from getting on your bike! You won’t have to ride far before your blessed by Gods own county and all it has to share.
