Shop will remain OPEN as normal just a usual post to say all basic repairs will still remain same day-more complex repairs and board level repairs may take extra time - please plan ahead not to be dissapointed.

Customer brought us this custom built pc after trying some upgrades himself.🔨

Unfortunately after completing his build he was running into umpteen errors resulting in the pc being unusable anyone working on electronics will know the headache of a customer trying things themself☠️🤯

After a quick check using our experience we quickly found two issues and both resolved instantly for the customer who can now get back to gaming instantly. 👾

LCD vs OLED screens — what’s the difference? 📱

LCD (Liquid Crystal Display)
Uses a backlight behind the screen.
✔ Usually cheaper
✔ Can get very bright
✔ Less risk of burn-in
❌ Blacks look more grey (backlight always on)
❌ Slightly thicker display

OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode)
Each pixel lights itself individually.
✔ True blacks & better contrast
✔ More vibrant colours
✔ Thinner and more power efficient (especially in dark mode)
❌ More expensive
❌ Risk of burn-in over long-term use

In short:
LCD = budget-friendly
OLED = better visuals and premium feel
