What you need to know about Conversion APIs 👀

With Google looking to sunset third-party cookies in Chrome in 2024, and more and more browsers and devices allowing users to block tracking (e.g. Apple’s ITP), browser-level tracking such as the Meta Pixel is becoming more inaccurate, so setting up Conversion APIs is more important than ever.

❓What is Meta's Conversion API?
🛰️ Conversion API works higher up at a server level and can help return the data lost by browsers, meaning you can preserve the effectiveness of your Facebook and Instagram advertising in spite of these industry changes.

❓ How are the Conversion API and Meta Pixel different?
💻 Conversion API works by providing data from your website to Facebook, rather than Facebook collecting it itself. However, this isn’t an either-or situation - ideally, you should be using Conversion API and Pixel.

❓ How can I implement the Conversion API?
👩‍💻 Conversion API can be integrated through a variety of methods, from direct integration to using GA4 and plugins (Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, for example).
