Local estate agents Property Cafe recently underwent an identity redesign which reminded me of the first post I created as Sublime Design (check out my feed!). I wanted to revive my spin on how I feel the brand should look.

My client desired a logo that reflected their passion for the outdoors, 50s American truck signage, and their raw but natural approach to woodworking and carpentry.
My client had a vision of the typography prepared, having been inspired by the Coors logo and handprinted signage.

I'm now the proud owner of a Prusa Mini, a versatile 3D printer that outputs some really nice models and parts. I would like to offer my printer as a service for any printed model requirements.

If you can supply the print-ready file, I can supply a beautifully modelled and finished part.

*** For optimal results, submit an .STL file no larger than 180x180x180mm. ***

My plans for the future include a 3D modelling service, so stay tuned for that!

404 Page
"Design a 404 page. Does it suit the brand's style? Is it user-friendly? It might sound mundane, but not everything can be flash or glamorous. Every day millions of people will be landing on 404 pages. You have an opportunity to help them in a way that's useful and aesthetically pleasing.(It's up to you!)"
I took this opportunity to create an illustration using the 3D tools and Symbols in Illustrator. This is the first time I've really played with this type of illustration. I'm pretty happy with the results! Took about 60 seconds to doodle and 6 hours to bring to life. It was originally going to be three sides of a cube, but time constraints meant I had to scale that idea back (perhaps for another day).

"Design settings for something. Is it for security or privacy settings? Game settings? What is it and what's important? (It's up to you!)"
I chose to recreate the settings menu on the One Night Ultimate... tabletop game app. I feel the original isn't user friendly and looks ugly in places (for example: back / pause btn).
What I hoped to achieve is a more standard looking settings menu with better visual feedback and usability.
I've included:
• Help icons inline with every header to describe what each option does upon tapping (for example: narration)
• Disabling / turning off button option + fading (example: background)
• Slider volume controls + integer feedback
• Standardised switches on/off
• Help and Back icons in top nav.
I used Adobe XD for the bulk of the design, and Illustrator for the mockup.
