TRAVELLING TO THE USA?

If you are travelling to the USA, please be advised that some phone will not be compatible with USA networks. This is due to American mobile phone carriers upgrading their networks, and shutting down their 2G and 3G services. It will impact all mobile network operators.

If you need to use your phone in USA, you will need to ensure you have:

1) A 4G or 5G phone which supports 4G calling when roaming
2) A 4G or 5G enabled sim card
3) A compatible tariff
4) 4G calling switched on the device

Turkey and Syria Mobile News Update

Following the devastating earthquake impacting Turkey & Syria, please see below an important update from Vodafone, O2 and EE regarding crediting calls, texts and data, so you are still able to stay in touch with family and friends.

Vodafone will be automatically crediting all calls and texts from customers within the UK who are contacting Turkey and Syria between 6th February – 13 February 2023.

In addition, Vodafone UK customers who use minutes, texts and data in Turkey and minutes and texts in Syria during these times will also be automatically credited for their usage.

EE have made mobile calls, texts and data used in Turkey and Syria free-of-charge for their customers between 6th February - 10th February 2023 (inclusive).

EE have also made calls from the UK to Turkey and Syria free, so you can check on your loved ones without incurring charges.

To support their customers who have been impacted, O2 are crediting back the cost of SMS messages for their customers to and from the UK to Turkey and Syria from 6th to 20th February 2023.

Along with Vodafone, EE & O2, DWD Telecoms extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of those impacted by the devastation.
