Bodycote went direct with their mobile network, expecting full control and lower costs. Then they moved to Croft.

Here's what Chris Gosling, Technical Operations Manager, told us:

"Croft has delivered all the expected services and more with a higher level of diligence than we have ever experienced going direct with a mobile network. Going direct should have given us full control, reduced costs, and the best possible service from the network operator. Using Croft as our MSP has given us the best of both worlds, proving that direct services were far from expectations, while their support has been nothing short of outstanding."

Diligence and support are hard to see in a contract. They show up later, when something needs sorting and someone actually picks it up.

If your mobile contract is up for renewal, let's meet to discuss.

Managing your mobile estate can get messy fast. New starters, upgrades, different contract end dates, different networks, roaming charges nobody spotted until the bill arrived. Someone ends up chasing all of it manually.

If any of that sounds familiar, book 20 minutes with one of our mobile consultants. We'll cover:
Network contract consolidation
Cost saving assessment
Security and compliance review
Business continuity discussion

Let us walk you through it https://www.croftmsp.com/solutions/business-mobile-solutions/

Most contact centres still run on channels that don't talk to each other. Phone in one place, chat in another, email somewhere else entirely. Your agents are left piecing together the full picture while the customer waits.

Croft brings it all together. Voice, chat, , email and social, connected through one platform, so your team can see the whole conversation and respond properly, first time.

We work with a variety of vendors, so whichever setup suits your business, there's a solution that fits.

The results are faster response times, lower costs, agents who aren't fighting disparate systems to do their job well and most importantly customers who actually feel looked after.

If your contact centre is still stuck in silos, it might be time for a conversation https://www.croftmsp.com/contact/

Illingworth Seddon's old Mitel phone system was reaching end of life. As a financial planning firm, they couldn't risk clients being unable to reach their adviser, so they got quotes from three providers.

Croft was one of them.

They chose 8x8's cloud phone system. UK-hosted data centres for data sovereignty, security certifications that matched their compliance obligations, and a 99.999% uptime SLA covering both availability and call quality.

Croft managed the whole transition, on schedule and with minimal disruption. When the team needed adjustments afterwards, Croft responded quickly.

Martin Savage, Operations Director at Illingworth Seddon, said it best:
"Croft always respond quickly with minimal fuss. They aren't pushy salespeople, just honest, knowledgeable professionals. Croft are a trusted business partner."

8x8 published their buyer's checklist for evaluating contact centre platforms in 2026. Worth a read if you're weighing up options.

Fragmented tooling tops the list of problems. Agents switching between disconnected systems, hunting for context, customers repeating themselves. We see this constantly with businesses who've built their tech stack supplier by supplier rather than by design.

The section is more specific than most. It asks whether you can bring your own AI tools into the platform or you're stuck with whatever's native. Whether supervisors can actually customise their own dashboards.

Security gets buried in most contact centre conversations. HIPAA, GDPR, PCI compliance for card payments. If you're handling customer data daily, these need to be part of the evaluation from the start, not an afterthought.

We partner with 8x8 because their platform covers this without needing half a dozen bolt-ons stitched together.

If you're mid-evaluation, this is a solid one to work through. https://www.8x8.com/en-gb/blog/2026-contact-center-buyers-checklist

Wales Millennium Centre - Canolfan Mileniwm Cymru staff were jumping between separate voice, email and chatbot systems just to answer a simple question. The system only worked from the office, even during emergencies. And every small update ate into IT time that should have gone elsewhere.

Croft partnered with the Centre to bring it all together with 8x8, integrating voice, email and chat into one app for agents. No more switching screens mid-conversation. Clearer reporting means issues get spotted and solved faster.

We also introduced an AI Assistant, built with converse360's Assist-Me platform, so customers get instant answers around the clock on show times, group bookings, seat selection and pricing. When a query needs a human touch, it hands off seamlessly, with the full chat history attached, so nothing gets repeated or lost.

Staff can now update the call queue in seconds to announce a new show. They can work from anywhere in the building, across the Bay, or beyond it.

As Rhys Davies, IT Director at Wales Millennium Centre, put it: Croft supported their digital transformation with great advice and training throughout, despite a tight turnaround.

With a new immersive arts theatre on the horizon, the Centre now has a platform built to grow with them. Read the full case study:

Chrome, Edge, and Safari do a decent job of saving passwords for personal use. They're convenient, built in, and free.

But when IT needs to govern shared access, enforce policy, or revoke a credential the moment someone
leaves, browsers simply weren't designed for it.

What browser passwords don't offer is the bit that matters for a growing business: who can see what, who shared it, and what happens to it when someone leaves.

That's the gap a platform like LastPass is built to close, with proper sharing controls, full visibility for IT, and one
consistent layer of security across every device and browser your team uses.

We've broken down the full comparison, including a side-by-side table of what browsers offer versus
what a proper password management platform gives your IT team.

According to Samsung, a data breach could shut down one in five SMEs within three months, with losses and fines potentially reaching £100k.

That's not an outlier figure. UK government’s official Cyber Security Breaches Survey states that 42% of small UK businesses have already experienced a cyber attack, rising to 67% for medium-sized ones. Yet 38% of SMEs still spend less than £100 a year on cyber security.

The gap between exposure and investment is the real story here. Prevention typically costs £5,000 to £25,000 to set up. Response to a serious incident averages £200,000 to £2 million.

The businesses that get hit hardest are the ones that assumed they were too small to be a target.

One of our winners this month got a call at 7pm from a client with a VLAN problem. She wasn't on call that night. She jumped on anyway and fixed it, even though she wasn't sure at first she could.

That's Nazeema Begum, one of our July Value Award winners alongside Bradley Young, Lee Hammond, Temi Ashaolu, Lee Pollard and Nigel Smith.

Congratulations to all six. Thank you for going above and beyond for your colleagues and clients, every day.

Bradley Young goes the extra mile for clients and colleagues alike. Approachable, dependable, proactive, and always ready to help. He has rebuilt confidence in difficult client situations.

Nazeema Begum jumped in outside her OOH hours to help fix a VLAN issue for Club 3000 after a 7pm call. Wasn't sure she could solve it, but persevered and did, leaving the client delighted.

Lee Hammond brings 100% to every stage of the customer journey (prospecting through to renewals), consistently embedding Croft values throughout.

Temi Ashaolu is a 1st liner who regularly puts his hand up for urgent, time-critical jobs when engineers need immediate support.

Lee Pollard is the reliable go-to person who delivers no matter the challenge. Dedicated, willing, and a real credit to the business.

Nigel Smith goes above and beyond despite a heavy workload. A versatile all-rounder with a positive, flexible attitude that makes a genuine difference to the team.

Dealing with mobile network issues on your own is exhausting. Sophia Westcott at WilmerHale knows this better than most.

Since partnering with Croft for business mobile, she's had a different experience entirely: real industry knowledge, real influence when things need escalating, and a consistent human contact who actually responds.

"Expertise is crucial. It's reassuring to have someone who understands your pain and actually responds. Consistent human contact is priceless."

This is exactly why we built Croft around dedicated account management, not call queues.
