A recent e-commerce project we completed for the amazing local artist David Ellis. A simple clean site that showcases his unique street art.

The Association of Child Protection Professionals are a nationwide charity and membership organisation that has been established since 1979. When AoCPP were recommended to Fallen Leaf Web Design, their existing website was outdated, with a poor user journey and didn’t meet the charity's primary objectives.

Fallen Leaf worked with the charity to plan and design a new content structure, highlighting the key areas of the website and important user functions, ensuring the user journey was clear. Integrating the organisation's memberships and regular events was key to the websites success. Fallen Leaf scoped a solution that would centralise all the members information and event purchases by integrating GoCardless for direct debit functionality and laying the foundation for future development of the members only site content and CRM integration.

As a charity, it was paramount that the website generated a return on investment and delivered value to its members. The website uses bold colour and text inline with the brand and bespoke animation to highlight key website information. All of these elements make for a better user experience and a design which encapsulates what the charity does.

We are looking forward to working with the AoCPP team for the next stages of website and the charity's digital development.

As the team prepare for the festive season, we wanted to take the opportunity to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Thank you for all of your support in 2021, and we already know that 2022 will be off to a busy start for Fallen Leaf Web Design!

We're working really hard to complete websites, tickets and respond to all queries before our team take a well earned break. Our office will close on Thursday 23rd December and will reopen on Tuesday 4th January.

Roisin joined our accounts team in September 2021 and supports the team with all finance related queries and business support. Roisin is super organised and is a big fan of lists, folders and sticky labels! She is currently studying for further qualifications in accounts and bookkeeping and is a key member of the team.

Fallen Leaf Web Design are pleased to be working with Blue Daisy on their new website.

Blue Daisy Garden Design offer garden design, consultancy and landscape advice to help their clients make the most of their space and grow beautiful flowers, trees and lawns. Our team have been asked to revamp their existing website, showcase their work, talents and expertise. The new website will need to be fresh, bright and visually appealing. There will be a blog area which the owners can easily update and manage as they create new content. Blue Daisy will also have access to the Fallen Leaf WordPress knowledge base to assist them as the business grows.

Have you asked key questions about where and how your website and emails are hosted? When it comes to hosting, the cheapest option is rarely the best option, so to make sure you’re getting value from your provider, it’s good to ask questions.

If your e-commerce website is on a shared hosting service, you may notice slow page load times, struggles with website traffic and timeout errors at check-out. For a brochure website, shared hosting could be adequate, but again, some servers differ from others.

Have you met Kieran?

Kieran joined the Fallen Leaf team in September and has wasted no time getting to know our clients and working on some of our ongoing projects. Kieran has a BTEC diploma in IT and is currently studying for a Level 4 apprenticeship in Web Development. Before Kieran joined the team he gained experience in building a number of websites and has experience in different coding languages.
