For Jack, the goal was to create a simple author site that reflected 1930s Hollywood, would grow to accommodate his book series, The Betsy Allen Hollywood Mysteries, and would not overpower the wonderful art produced by illustrator Lauren Schooley.

The site is built on the Duda CMS, allowing Jack to edit, update, and write freely, with an automated system that collects subscribers and notifies them of new blog posts and book launches via email.

With speed and SEO, the site scores 98 on desktop on Google PageSpeed, with a score of 100 across SEO, Accessibility, best practices, and agentic browsing.

We're pleased to officially launch the new website for TSL Group. From nationwide rail infrastructure rollouts with Network Rail and Balfour Beatty to their patented, sustainable thermal tarmac tech, TSL wanted a clean, sleek site to reflect their growth and industry expertise.

Our goal was to build a modern site with a back end editing platform to enable the team to handle day to day data analysis, blogging, and content updates.

Here's a concept for an upcoming podcast on youth & technology that didn't make the cut. We went with a completely different direction in the end, but we still loved this one. The glass effect mirrored modern mobile UI trends and was used to create a feeling of disconnection. Using Spline's Hana we made the 3D elements distorted in real time to create a set of dynamic video assets, and interactive web elements.

Things are moving fast out there folks. Google has rolled out their second core update of the year, with a big effect on organic ranking, discover feed, AI results, and featured snippets. Some early observations;

- Thin content is losing visibility faster than ever
- AI generated content with little or no editorial oversight is being hit
- Aggregators, directories and comparison pages are suffering
- EEAT importance continue to climb (actual expertise, authors, real experience)

Remember, a core update and subsequent drop is not a penalty, organisations are quick to strip back, change or revert content. Companies should be patient to allow the update to settle, and be mindful not to compare pre and post update data.

It’s been a blast working with Rhino Civils (rh1no.co.uk). They aren't your typical civil engineering firm, Rhino are incredibly forward-thinking with their use of technology in-house and facing their own clients. They asked us to reflect that and create a different digital experience that reflects their innovative approach to the industry. The site features interactive 3D scenes with drivable vehicles and physics as well as the back end of the site pulling data from their own construction management software to feed the blog and gallery.
