Post 3: The People Behind the Growth

Today, Connect365 is a respected telecoms provider serving both the B2B and enterprise markets, working with some of the world's most recognised brands and a growing network of reseller partners - from £1 million businesses to organisations generating over £500 million a year.

But what I'm most proud of isn't the growth. It's the people.

There were moments in those early years when I genuinely questioned whether the business would succeed. The people who backed me could easily have walked away.

They didn't. They believed in the vision, and I'll always be grateful for that trust.
I'm equally proud of the team we've built since - their professionalism, commitment and customer-first attitude have shaped Connect365 into what it is today.

The next chapter is about scaling the right way; growing without ever compromising on the service and relationships that got us here.

If the last eight years have taught me anything, it's that success rarely follows the original plan. Sometimes the biggest opportunities come from recognising when it's time to adapt.

Just as the market began recovering from Brexit, COVID arrived.

By which point, we’d rebranded to Connect365 - giving the business its own identity.

During the pandemic, when almost nobody was investing in new phone systems, I kept asking myself one question...

What needs to change?

That question transformed the business.

Rather than relying solely on direct sales, we launched our reseller channel - offering UCaaS, CCaaS, mobile, IoT and data connectivity through carefully selected partners.

The thinking was simple: Managed Service Providers already had trusted relationships with IT decision-makers. Instead of expecting them to become telecoms experts, we became an extension of their business - handling discovery, solution design, implementation, billing and support.

Within two years, Connect365 had grown substantially. Our systems matured, our partnerships strengthened, and our customers kept recommending us.

A brand is simply a reflection of how well you look after your customers. Happy customers build strong businesses - that's not a slogan, it's the whole strategy.
