Bit of old school motoring has been a project for the last 3 months but finally got picked up by the happy customer to enjoy. Vertually a full mechanical rebuild with a fully built and modified engine. Now all that is left for the customer to do is run it in....

Been 25 years plus since working on Ford's es**rt RS 2000, got this lovely example in today for some Gem Tech special attention!! You just never know what your going to find though...🤔 in this case small traces of debris and metal in the oil, told me that all was not well😞. Discussed with customer and decided to pull the engine. Stripped down to find badly damaged bearing shells and scored crankshaft. Lucky I spotted it now as further damage would have been terminal.
Work in progress I think...

As usual will be rebuilt with care and attention to detail.
