We’re celebrating Callie on International Dog Day 🐾
Our old girlie has been unwell this past couple of months so we are grateful for each day where she’s still her cheeky self. She needs to take it easy these days but she can still bowl you over if you’re in the way of her food! 😂

That time of year again…
Since I was a kid, I’ve found it hard to resist walking past a horse chestnut tree without taking some conkers home. 🙃

I pass this tree often as it’s close to my house, and these were all just waiting on the ground for me…

I don’t even know why I do it…I don’t play conkers. I just like opening them and it reminds me of being wee. Now I can use the excuse that I use them for my work. Which is true! You’ll see some of last year’s conkers in my recent squirrel design and my pumpkin card. 🎃

Anyone else collect conkers as a kid? Bonus points if you still do, because it makes me feel less weird. 😂

Lots of cards! The squirrel and fox were clear winners 😁 Closely followed by the hedgehog and sunflower birthday card. 🌻

It’s great feedback seeing everyone’s choices. I have a few cards that I’ve never really sold online that do well in-person. Always interesting!

Hey all, I've noticed a flurry of new followers in recent days, so if you're new here - welcome! And if you've been here a while, thank you 🌼

For those who don't know, I'm Leanne, and Foxglovely is my creative outlet based in Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. A lot of my inspiration comes from my garden, our Highland scenery and the wildlife around us.

I create most of my work using digital collage, working with my own photographs of flowers and foliage from my garden and local area. Every design is thoughtfully assembled, flower by flower, layer by layer (and supervised by at least one cat or dog!). It's as fussy as it sounds but I enjoy the process and love that I can take my time with it. ☺️

I hope you enjoy what I have to share. I try to post a mix of my work, bits about my garden, flower pressing and the odd post including my four-legged family members.

Yikes on a bike...
This is a mighty kick for micro businesses and artists.
I noticed my "bLinks" were being turned into plain text on some recent posts (yes, comments too!). Turns out this is why.

I gather it's been rolling out gradually in recent weeks, probably to test reactions and avoid mass outrage 🙃 If it isn't happening to you yet, it's coming.

Genuinely shocked at how dear it is too, crazy amount for something we've always been able to do.

They're usually a frequent visitor to our garden, which inspired me to create this design ☺️ Although this year, I have only seen one so far...
