A few customers need us away from the shop this afternoon… 🚚💨

We’ll be closing early at 4pm today as we head out to deal with a few customer emergencies in the local community.

Sometimes the best place for us to be isn’t behind the counter, it’s out getting our customers back up and running.

We’ll be back open as usual from 9am tomorrow.

📺 The end of an era.

Tonight marks the final standalone edition of STV News North, bringing to a close decades of dedicated television news for the North of Scotland.

As a business that’s spent the last 25 years supplying televisions across the Highlands, we’ve always believed that TV is about far more than the screen itself. It’s about the familiar programmes and trusted faces that become part of everyday life.

For generations, STV North has been exactly that. It has reported on the stories that mattered to our communities and has been a familiar fixture in homes across the region.

Whatever your view on the changes, today feels like a moment worth acknowledging.

To everyone who has worked both on screen and behind the scenes over the years, thank you for helping tell the story of the North of Scotland 🫶🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Just a quick note that we’ll be closing a little earlier than usual this Saturday, at 3pm.

We have an important off-site product testing session to attend…

Although, if we’re being completely honest, very little electrical testing is expected.

Back open as normal on Monday from 9am.

That’s how long Scotland fans have waited for a World Cup match.

Last night was worth the wait.

Safe to say there will be plenty smiles around the shop this week.

Not every day your shop window gets turned into this… 🏴⚽️

Absolutely incredible work by Dels Doodles bringing a bit of World Cup optimism to Academy Street this week.

What makes it even more impressive?
The whole thing was painted live by hand on the inside of the glass… in reverse… so it faces the right way outside 🤯

Safe to say it’s stopped more than a few people in their tracks today 😄
