‘’Here’s to celebrating international women in engineering day! I am proud of how far we have come as women to be able to learn and grow with an industry that was once regarded as a ‘Working Man’s Industry’. Telecommunications is a fast moving, very challenging industry which I have been a part of now for 9 years continuing to expand my knowledge. I love all aspects of the job, it's fascinating to see my role in providing fibre to the home which enables us to have internet and broadband. Within my 9 years of working in this industry I have managed Ethernet, BAU, L2C, LFFN, Civils, Flex, NRSWA, Safe Digs and many more all working on Openreach contracts. I look forward to continuing my journey within Telecoms and see where the future may take me."
