I was talking about this last night with my husband. Trying to explain in a simple way how much sugar is in the so called 'healthy' foods categories.
I was discussing watermelon last night.
Watermelon, you would think is great. I have to admit I love it too and very occasionally I have a wee bit.
I was also trying to show him how ai answers things, so I used Google Gemini to ask about the sugar content in watermelon.
The first answer was telling me basically not to worry about the sugar content due to it being 95% water and that the sugar content was classed as free sugars it was not an issue.
But the problem with that, is that the liver has to process these Free Sugars. So a body already struggling is then put under hepatic strain.
Anyhoo my point of this was to show the kind of answers a person would get from standard ai model when asking questions about food.
So I asked without showing any knowledge and got this initial response:
"Watermelon does not have a lot of sugar. A standard one-cup (152g) serving of diced watermelon contains about 9.5 grams of natural sugar. Because it is roughly 92% water, it has a low glycemic load, meaning it won't cause a major spike in blood sugar in moderation"
I then asked a few more questions to get more info. And then I explained to Google Gemini what I did for a living and my knowledge and I further questioned about the effects on people with Diabetes, insulin resistance etc etc.
There was a lot more information discussed and how badly the liver can be affected and if the body is not processing these types of food properly, because it is metabolically broken, how this free sugar from a watermelon can actually end up being stored as fat.
So my final point to Gemini ai was.

It will always give you what its trained to do. And that is to follow mainstream narrative, which let's face it, clearly does not work.
Because if it did, we would NOT be seeing the continuous rise in chronic health conditions such as type 2 diabetes, metabolic dysfunction and so much more.
One of the things that bugs me most, is that it is the information we are given is flawed.
Now this is just a simple example of this. It actually goes a lot deeper than this.

I get it. I truly do.
I did not come into this work from a place of good health. I arrived here sick, fat and with huge metabolic health issues. Which I am still repairing after years. So I fully understand how that feels from a personal stand point.
The only difference is, that I now have the knowledge and professional experience to ask the right questions and dive deeper for the right answers.
So when I came on here this morning and saw this video I am sharing, I thought "oooh this is pretty much what I was explaining to my hubby last night.
