Over the last week, I've shared a few lessons that have shaped my journey.

If there's one thing I'd want you to take away from all of it, it's this:

You don't need more confidence.

You don't need more experience.

You don't need the perfect plan.

You just need to take the first step.

For years, I thought I needed to become someone else before I could move forward.

More confident.

More organised.

More capable.

The truth is, growth happened when I started anyway.

If you've been thinking about creating more options for yourself, learning something new, or exploring an additional income stream, maybe this is your reminder not to wait until everything feels perfect.

Start anyway.

I'd love to know: what's one thing you've been putting off because you're waiting to feel ready?

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make is waiting until they feel ready.

Ready to start.

Ready to learn.

Ready to take action.

Ready to believe in themselves.

The truth?

Most people never feel completely ready.

Confidence usually comes after you start, not before.

Looking back, some of my biggest periods of growth happened when I took action before I felt prepared.

Tomorrow, I'm sharing something I've been working on that I hope will help people who don't know where to begin.

For years, I thought success meant becoming someone else.

Someone more confident.

Someone who didn't overthink things.

Someone who found certain tasks easier.

Being dyslexic, I spent a lot of time focusing on what I thought were weaknesses instead of recognising the strengths I already had.

I compared myself to people who seemed to have it all figured out.

What I've learned is that growth doesn't come from trying to become somebody else.

It comes from understanding yourself, accepting yourself, and finding ways of working that suit you.

The moment I stopped trying to fit into somebody else's mould and started embracing who I am, things became a lot easier.

Not perfect.

Just easier.

What's something you've learned about yourself that you wish you'd understood sooner?

One thing I've learned over the years is that most people overcomplicate creating an additional income stream.

They think there must be a secret strategy.

In reality, it usually comes down to a few simple things done consistently:

1️⃣ Start conversations

2️⃣ Understand what people need

3️⃣ Share information when it's relevant

4️⃣ Follow up

Simple?

Yes.

Easy?

Not always.

But most things become much easier when we stop trying to make them more complicated than they need to be.

What's something you've discovered was far simpler than you originally thought?

Just a bit of a fun question today...

If an extra £500 landed in your account every month, what would you do with it?

Would it be:

✈️ A holiday fund?

🏡 Home improvements?

💳 Paying off debt?

💰 Building savings?

👨‍👩‍👧 More experiences with family?

I think it's interesting because everyone has a different answer, and what feels life-changing to one person might be completely different for someone else.

For me, I'd probably put it towards improvements in the house and experiences with the girls.

What about you?

People often ask me why I do what I do.

The answer isn't really about business.

It's about growth.

It's about helping families keep more of their hard-earned money.

It's about creating more options for the future.

And it's about becoming a better version of myself along the way.

I've learned that when you focus on helping people and keep growing personally, opportunities tend to follow.

That's what keeps me moving forward.

What motivates you to keep working towards your goals?

One of the biggest myths I hear when talking to people about creating an additional income stream is:

"I don't have the experience, i'm not like you"

The funny thing is, experience isn't usually the thing holding people back.

It's uncertainty.

Not knowing where to start.
Not knowing if they're capable.
Not knowing if it could work for them.

The truth?

Most people figure things out as they go.

I certainly didn't know everything when I started my first business venture.

Nobody does.

You learn.
You grow.
You improve.

The question isn't whether you have experience.

The question is whether you have a reason to start.

What's something you've done in life that felt scary at first but became easier once you got started?
