How's your laptop or computer coping with the hot weather?
If it's noisy and hot, there's a good chance it's due to a build up of dust and fluff around the output vent as seen in the picture. This will eventually cause the PC to shut down, run poorly and could irreparably damage the motherboard.
A regular service will prevent this. Spraying compressed air into the vent has little effect on compacted fluff as it has nowhere to go but backwards to clog up the fan.
Get in touch if you'd like to arrange a service or have a chat about it. Typical cost for a complete dismantle and clean out plus thorough sweep for viruses and malware is just £40 - £50.

All aspects of computer and laptop repairs. Here for free advice. Not an essential worker but feel I come close as someone who can help with getting a PC up and running - enabling home schooling, home shopping and contact with family. All jobs taken in using social distancing. All jobs will be wiped with antibacterial wipe before returning. All jobs taken on a no fix - no fee with completely free assessments.

If your PC is running on Windows 7, you may have seen a message from Microsoft warning of support coming to an end for Windows 7 in January 2020.
If you'd like some advice on what to do and whether your machine is suitable for an upgrade to Windows 10, then please get in touch.
