Another step toward energy independence.
This customer wanted a system that was flexible, future‑proof, and ready for deeper electrification — so we built exactly that.
We installed a Victron MultiPlus 2 8k ESS, mounted remotely in a workshop thanks to an external transfer switch and a clean 20m run. The board is fully upgradable to the 15k MultiPlus, giving them a clear path for expansion.
Their new Fogstar battery has been a pleasant surprise — seamless Victron integration and great performance so far. The system is also ready for a second Fogstar unit, which would take total storage up to 32kWh for even greater resilience and flexibility.
With Dynamic ESS mode, the system automatically decides when to charge overnight on low‑cost electricity and when to rely on solar, keeping bills down without any effort. It’s also capable of running in trading mode for even smarter energy use.
To make the most of the new setup, we added a 5kW Daikin AC system with two indoor units, helping the customer begin the shift away from gas heating.
