Announcement-only posts rarely get anyone talking.
Scroll through your last few posts. If most of them are updates like 'We're closed on Friday' or 'New hours', you’re not alone. Most business pages end up looking like noticeboards for staff, not customers.
People don’t come to Facebook to read opening times. If you want clicks or comments, you need to give a reason for someone to care. Share a quick story from the week, a photo of the team, or ask a question that makes people stop for a second. The best posts feel like a nudge into a conversation, not a memo nobody asked for.
Next time you post, try swapping an announcement for a photo and a short line about what’s happening behind the scenes. Watch the difference in how people react.
What sort of post gets you actually clicking or commenting? Try one of those this week.
