This is a great example of how future homes should be designed — as one complete energy system.

We were proud to be involved in this new-build project in Torquay, where iHelios installed the invisible infrared heating system working alongside the renewable energy setup delivered by Alert Renewables.

The results from the solar PV system are already impressive: the home has covered its electricity demand since switch-on and exported significant surplus energy back to the grid in the first six weeks.

Every year, iHelios is proud to support new talent by offering young people valuable work experience.

This year, we welcomed Shaun, a student from Winifred Holtby Academy in Hull, to spend time with our team.

During his placement, Shaun learned new practical and business skills, gained an insight into renewable heating technology, and discovered more about the journey towards net zero.

The experience worked both ways. Shaun also shared some excellent ideas and gave us a fresh perspective on how young people think about heating, energy efficiency and the future of net zero.
