LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS - PLEASE BE CAREFUL

Today I received what appears to be a Meta Business Manager Partner Request email from [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).

The email itself looked genuine, which is exactly why I'm sharing this warning.

If you receive an unexpected request claiming someone wants access to your Facebook Business Manager:

🚫 Do NOT click any links in the email.
🚫 Do NOT log in through the email.
🚫 Do NOT approve the request without verifying it first.

Instead:

✅ Open your browser manually
✅ Go directly to Meta Business Suite yourself
✅ Log in normally
✅ Check whether any requests are actually present

Many scams rely on creating urgency and getting you to click a link before you stop to think.

Remember:

Just because an email appears to come from an official address does NOT automatically mean the request is legitimate.

If the wrong person gains access to your Business Manager, they could potentially gain access to:

• Your page
• Instagram Account
• Advertising Accounts
• Business Assets
• Business Information

It only takes a few seconds to verify a request directly through Meta, but it could save your business from a major problem.

If you want to keep using Facebook for free:

✅ Tap “Use for free with ads”
✅ Press Continue
✅ Done

You will not be charged.

This is simply a privacy and advertising choice screen, not a bill, not a scam, not a payment demand.
