It is now August which means, after a few weeks of the 'full-juggle', I'm now more in holiday-mode.

Given this is what I do, and there's no paid leave around here, things aren't griding to a halt - the website is still open and emails are still getting replied to (albeit a bit slower than usual) but things are more 'ticking over' than actively being business-y as I spend some time with the family.

It's always a bit scary going deliberately quiet, especially at the moment too. But history has taught me that some down-time now pays dividends later in the year and recharges my battery in a way that October just can't.

So yes, I'm still around and about, but for this month my priorities are a bit more low-key as cups are being filled.

I’m making no secret that I’m focusing on wholesale at the moment, and my dream stockists really are the gorgeous independent stationery & gift shops that are the cherries on top of our towns and cities and holiday destinations and weekends away.

But, as much as I love shopping I can’t personally get everywhere and find all these gems so I’d love it if you could help me?

If you have a favourite gift shop, stationers or even nursery/garden centre where you think my sustainable stationery would suit their shelves I’d love for you to introduce me and drop their name and location (or maybe their IG handle) below.

Would just be amazing to hear your favourite places, and to be honest it helps me shop small over the next few months of present season in our house too (yes, I have a secondary motive and I’m not ashamed!) THANK YOU! ######

The best thing about indie retailers is how unique they all are, totally tuned in to their customer base, their likes/dislikes and what they [the retailer] can do for them.

And I’d like to think I can support them too, so that when they stock my products I can help keep things easy for them too so they’ve got as much time as possible to make their customers’ experiences perfect.

Calling all UK Indie Retailers, Museum & Gallery shops and Garden Centre/Nurseries with a Gifts section - next week is THE perfect time to shop UK made sustainable stationery and try out a few new things over the summer for your wonderful customers.

Key things to know are:
💰 Minimum order has been dropped to £0,
📓 Items are available individually so you can get a broader range,
💸 And because it's Summer Market there are special discounts ranging from 10-20%.

Not the audio I was going to choose, but I’m on a packed train after a day in London so tbh it’s also very much my thoughts.

I used to think people who didn’t read or work or do anything on a train journey were mad for not using that time. But after a busy 8 days or so it was actually really nice. Leaving my mind to wander means quite a random selection of thoughts though!

Because stall reveal reels will never get old and never stop being a great way to remember what you’ve done.

Thank you again , and your amazing team for such a great event. It went in a flash, was great fun and such a wonderful spirit of community and paperyness.

And another thank you to .and.cheer for the cheerleading, the chats, the photos and arriving with an iced coffee at the most perfect of times (and catching it too 😜).

A moment on the grid for my 'Use the Good Stationery' stamp that came with me to last weekend. I wanted one for my parcels and wrapping paper, and the Stamp Rally was a good deadline, and whilst I perhaps got carried away with the size, no-one seemed to mind. (Although yes, a bigger ink pad might have been useful).

I didn't start taking photos of people's stamps for ages, and often forgot because we were chatting (so. much. chatting.) but here are a couple, and an extra thank you to for posing with it.

Plus, I also did a few stickers with it on exclusively for the On Paper Festival, but did get extras printed so I'll get those up and listed hopefully this week!
