Describe your ideal customer in one sentence. Right now. No over thinking.

If you hesitated or your answer was ‘anyone who needs my service or product’ then there’s a problem.

If you can’t say who they are, what their life looks like, where they hang out you’re not marketing anyone. You’re shouting into a void and hoping someone here’s. And let’s face it that can be soul destroying.

A logo is only one piece. Without colours, typography, messaging and consistency, it cannot do the heavy lifting. A logo alone will not make your business recognisable or trusted.

“I can change my branding whenever”

Who is your ideal customer?
What makes your business different?
What feeling should your brand create?

If your brand feels inconsistent, it is usually not your product. It is these habits:

1. Too many fonts
Fonts create personality. Using too many makes your brand feel messy instead of intentional. Stick to 1–2 fonts so your brand becomes recognisable.

2. Too many colours
More colour does not mean more impact. It usually means less recognition. A focused palette builds consistency, trust, and familiarity.
