This is what one of our valued customers had to go through yesterday 😡

Just a bit of a summary……

We obviously went live earlier, but a bit of storytime.

We have a 10ft flat bed that’s on hire.

This morning I received a phone call to say the trailer has been stolen.

Quickly after disturbing George on his lunch break we look on the tracker for the trailer and discovered the trailer was a decent drive from us and was the other side of Doncaster.

We followed directions on the tracker app and was lead to a wooded area which was absolutely huge the tracker led us up a track and showed us a 200ft area of where the trailer should be located.

The bushes were thick, the trees were over grown but in the distance, in a bush was our trailer.

A little known trick of thieves, is to steal trailers or plant, put them in a wood or off the beaten track. They leave them for a couple of days, allowing time to ensure trackers aren’t installed. After a couple of days, they will take them back to their home ground to move on, unlikely to be seen again.

The police I can honestly say have been nothing but an absolute disappointment, a real real let down.

We waited hours and hours then decided to try get to the trailer with our trusty van.

Sadly the ground was not on our side and we ended up stuck ;( with the trailer.

Lots of time went by and tbh we lost idea of what to do untilll…………

We remembered we service trailers just up the road.

After contacting our lovely customer.

A farmer soon turned up.

AND THE TRAILER IS HOME BACK WHERE HE BELONGS!!!

Today we have learnt that trackers are the only way forward……..

Our customers are what keep us going and they always have our back!

Some previous experience of working in a workshop enviroment would be a huge advantage, Although training will be given.
