All laptops and PCs sold have been given a comprehensive service including:
Internal Component Cleaning: Chemical cleaning of the motherboard, processor, and other internal parts to remove dust and debris
Thermal Management: Replacement of thermal paste on the motherboard and graphic card heat sink to prevent overheating
Fan Servicing: Cleaning the cooling fan to ensure smooth airflow and prevent sudden system shutdowns
Software Reinstallation: Reinstallation of the operating system to ensure the machine runs as a fresh, new device
Operating Software Update: Install all windows updates
Driver Update: All Devices Drivers updated
Hardware Functionality Tests: Rigorous testing of all components, including the keyboard, mouse, display, and charging ports, to ensure they are fully operational
BIOS/Firmware Update: Clearing of old passwords and updating to the latest BIOS/UEFI settings
Quality Inspection: Final inspection to ensure the machine meets our high standard

What Is Covered
Defective Hardware Components: Failures of the motherboard, processor (CPU), RAM, or storage drives (SSD/HDD)
Keyboard, Trackpad, and Speakers: Internal malfunctions of these input/output components
Power Adapter and Port: Issues with the charger or the charging port not holding a charge, provided they have not been physically damaged
Labour and Repairs: The cost of fixing the machine
What Is NOT Covered (Exclusions)
Accidental Damage: Drops, cracked screens, spills, or liquid damage
Normal Wear and Tear: Gradual reduction in battery capacity, keyboard fading, or minor scratches
Software Issues: Viruses, malware, operating system corruption, or data loss
Neglect or Misuse: Damage caused by improper handling, such as leaving the laptop in extreme temperatures
Unauthorized Repairs: Any damage caused by attempts to open or fix the computer by someone not authorized by Woolton Computers

If you are using a laptop or a PC and it has Windows 10 installed you will be starting to getting messages from Microsoft similar to this one.
It’s not a fake message you need to act on it. If you don’t you will still be able to use your computer after the 14th October as normal BUT Microsoft will no longer provide security updates, technical assistance, or bug fixes for the operating system. After this date, using Windows 10 will expose your computer to significant security vulnerabilities and viruses. To remain secure, you need to upgrade to Windows 11
If you click on the blue Get It, it will run a test to see if your computer can be upgraded to Windows 11. If it fails the test, please don’t worry this is where we do our magic.
We can do a clean fresh install of Windows 11 for you.
