Working with Jisc, Metaverse Hub has designed and delivered the Virtual Innovation Hub. A new kind of digital environment, one that will allow people across education and research to explore emerging technologies in a way that feels accessible, collaborative and meaningful.

The hub brings complex ideas to life through themed zones, including future climate scenarios for education, immersive classroom technologies with real UK use cases, a walkthrough of a ransomware attack, and a digital twin of Jisc’s Innovation Lab. It also supports guided tours, live events and ongoing content updates, making it a flexible space that evolves with user needs.

Early results show strong engagement from staff, partners and the wider education sector, alongside valuable insight into how immersive environments can support innovation, skills development and strategic thinking.

As Jisc continues to iterate and co-design new experiences, the Virtual Innovation Hub provides a foundation for future collaboration and experimentation.
