....has been a long one, with twists, turns and one thing after another....
Way back when I used to promote, I used to help design the flyers with the designer and after a while started thinking that I really should learn to do this myself, so I went to college to learn the basics of graphic design and off I went designing my own and others flyers and posters as a part time hobby / job that paid for the odd treat here and there.
After my Dad passed, I wanted to find a way to make the most of life and work and try to finally get the balance right, so, like him (unfortunately I don’t think he ever got the balance quite right) I set up my own business, doing what I love.... Precision Design & Print, and named it after my Dad’s business which he had for over 40 years.... Precision Engraving.
After a while I started getting more equipment to produce clothing and other items and it soon became apparent that I needed a premises for it all.... along came 106 Hamlet Court Road, which, ran under the leaseholder Heidi, was an indoor market place. I took a unit there as well as a couple of market stalls to sell the products and everything went well for about a month or two until, tragically, Heidi was involved in a fatal car crash. Work on the building then stopped and the traders still at the premises were well and truly caught in limbo whilst all the legal proceedings went through. I finally moved out in December 2017 after 6 months at 106.
