September always looks spacious until the school gates open again. Then everyone returns, the meetings restart, the inbox fills up, and the final quarter suddenly feels very close. The marketing plans that were going to be sorted "when things calm down" get pushed back again.
So here's the useful question: what does your team need to have ready before September begins? Not a huge 40-page strategy nobody opens again. A clear view of:
What the business needs to achieve before the end of the year.
Which audiences matter most.
What you need to communicate more clearly.
Which campaigns or launches need support.
Who is responsible for actually delivering it.
Growing businesses rarely suffer from a lack of marketing ideas. The problem is usually scattered priorities, limited senior time, and nobody consistently joining the strategic thinking to the delivery. That's the gap I often step into. I work alongside founders and internal teams to bring clarity, structure and momentum to the marketing that keeps being delayed.
September doesn't need more ideas. It needs someone to make the decisions.
