STILL THE BEST Halloween party Glasgow's ever seen. The TechAdVenture Jaguar Dead Gorgeous Halloween Ball (or Nation1 as we were called back then, before the tech revolution). The theme was to come as someone dead and / or gorgeous. Don’t push hard and you’re not serious enough. Highlight the competition and investor x says you’re focusing too much on what other people are doing, don’t focus on the competition and investor Y say’s you don’t know your own market. The reality is, there is no right way or wrong way to do this.

Could this be the moment that changes everything? While Apple may look like the winner it's important to note than in 1984 Apple (4 years after its IPO) was worth approx $2 bn (today, adjusting for 2019 inflation, as 2020 aint no economic pinup) that would be $6.56 bn HOWEVER Epic Games is still privately owned with a market cap of $17.5bn and was also born out of the founders parents garage. If Epic 'pulls an Apple on Apple' then the future of smartphones and mobile apps may change dramatically (for the better) over the next few years.
