⚠️ AI in manufacturing isn’t failing because of data. It’s failing because of context.
In industrial environments, every decision has real-world consequences — from production delays to compliance risks. Yet too many AI models operate in abstraction, disconnected from the realities of the shop floor.
The takeaway?
👉 AI only becomes valuable when it’s grounded in operational context — from BOMs and WIP to quality and routing constraints.
👉 ERP systems are evolving from systems of record into critical “context engines” that make AI actionable.
If we want Industrial AI to deliver real outcomes, we need to anchor it in how the business actually runs.
