Tomorrow is our Pride In Progress event! 🏳️‍🌈

Taking a final look at our Key Speakers, we're proud to have Donovan take to the stage tomorrow.

Donavan Hutchinson is the Founder and CEO for D&A Services International Ltd; the industry's first DEI As A Service organisation. Donavan is also a Governor at Barnsley College with over 20 years in the technology industry and has a wealth of experience in leadership, sales strategy, compliance, mergers and acquisitions and international collaboration programs having worked as an executive leader for some of the world largest technology reseller organisations.

His commitment to driving change across various industries in promoting equality for all has been instrumental in the growth of several organisations he has had the opportunity to lead during his tenure.

It's not long until our Pride In Prgoress event - and we'll be pleased to welcome Emma to speak to us! 🏳️‍🌈

Emma started her career as a Secondary Drama Teacher for 9 years and has since volunteered and worked for various LGBTQ+ charities. She is passionate about authenticity and all of us recognising our strength in being individual. In 2013, Emma began volunteering with Diversity Role Models as a Role Model in Liverpool.

Now working hybrid between Liverpool and London, Emma is the lead on relationships, promoting volunteer, corporate funding, and fundraising opportunities. She lives with her wife, and former DRM trustee, Ann, and their daughter whom they adopted during the pandemic. In her spare time, she volunteers for Adoption UK running their LGBTQ+ adopter support group.

"This year to mark Pride Month 2024, we're launching our own theme of Pride In Progress. Our rights as members of the LGBTQIA+ community are constantly under scrutiny and being debated by those outside of the community. Ben Mulford (he/they) is Chair of Softcat’s Pride Network, and a Learning and Development Co-ordinator in Softcat’s HR team. Ben has been leading this network for 18 months now, and has been keenly involved since joining Softcat in August of 2021. Continuing our spotlight on Key Speakers at our upcoming Pride In Progress event next week, we look forward to hearing from Jo Lawrence, People and Marketing Director and Executive Sponsor of the Exertis ERGs, at the event. 🏳️‍🌈

Following a HR career in Retail and Financial Services sectors, Jo joined Exertis in November 2019. As Executive Sponsor of Exertis Employee Resource Groups and an ally of the LGBTQIA+ network, Jo is actively involved in advancing the people and partner experience at Exertis.

Believing that everyone deserves to feel valued, included and celebrated, she champions people being able to be their true selves at work and welcomes the opportunity to connect with different businesses in order to drive change in our industry and communities.
