🌱 What if a THANK YOU could grow?

Today is Earth Day, a moment that reminds us to pause, appreciate the planet we share, and ask ourselves what more we can do.

This year, we decided to mark it a little differently.

Instead of the usual gestures, we are planting 500 trees for every customer who has been part of our journey. A small way of saying thank you, while giving something back to the planet at the same time. 🌍

We’re doing it through Tree-Nation, a wonderful global platform that has already helped over 700,000 people and 19,000 companies plant more than 37 million trees across 25 countries, working alongside the United Nations Environment Programme. What they’ve built is genuinely inspiring.

And so, on this Earth Day, the Transputec Ltd Forest begins. 🌳

It won’t change the world overnight, but it’s a start. And we think that’s worth celebrating.

Watch this space as our forest grows, and if this sparks an idea for your own organisation, we’d love to hear about it.

To our customers, THANK YOU. These trees are for you.

11 hours. Every week. Just managing vendors.

That's what we keep hearing from mid-market IT teams: not building, not securing, not modernising. Chasing escalations. Tracking renewals.

Translating supplier tickets into something their own engineers can actually act on.

They're not short on talent. They're short on time; their talent can be used for real work.

This carousel breaks down what vendor management by default actually costs, what it looks like in practice, and what a well-structured managed IT partnership absorbs instead.

Swipe through, and drop a comment if this sounds like your current week.

A hybrid model promised flexibility. What many businesses got instead was complexity.

One team working from home, another in the office, systems spread across platforms, and IT struggling to maintain control. Productivity improves on paper, but underneath, gaps start to appear in security, access, and performance.

The real shift happens when the cloud is treated as the foundation of hybrid working, not just a supporting tool. It gives teams consistent access, strengthens security, and removes the friction that slows down growth.

For many UK organisations, the challenge is not whether to adopt cloud solutions but how to do it in a way that actually supports scale, resilience, and cost control.

The full blog explores how cloud solutions UK businesses are using today are reshaping hybrid working into a true growth enabler. https://www.transputec.com/blogs/cloud-solutions-uk-for-hybrid-working/

Read the blog to understand what that looks like in practice and how to approach it with clarity.

Carnival Corporation. 6 million people. One social engineering attack.

A threat actor convinced an employee to grant access, and that was enough to copy millions of customer records before anyone intervened. No technical exploit required. Just a deception, and a door left open.

This is the pattern we see again and again. Technology protects systems. People protect organisations. And when the human layer is not trained to the same standard as the technical controls, that gap is where attackers go.

At Transputec Ltd, our Managed SOC and security awareness programmes are built around this reality. Three questions worth asking your team this week:

- When did your people last receive social engineering training?

- Do you have monitoring to detect unusual account behaviour before data leaves?

- If someone were targeted tomorrow, would they know what to do in the first five minutes?

If any of those give you pause, we would be glad to help. Talk to us: www.transputec.com

The IT issue itself is rarely the biggest problem.

It is the timing.

A server goes down overnight. A remote employee cannot access systems before an important client meeting. A cyber alert appears outside working hours when nobody is monitoring the network.

Most businesses assume their IT environment is stable until something disrupts operations unexpectedly.

The challenge is that modern businesses no longer operate only during office hours. Employees work remotely, customers expect constant availability, and cyber threats do not pause after 5 pm.

That is why more UK businesses are investing in 24/7 managed IT services.

Continuous monitoring and proactive support help reduce downtime, improve resilience and prevent small issues from becoming operational disruptions.

The organisations recovering fastest from IT problems are usually the ones prepared before the disruption happens.

We explore this further in our latest blog on why 24/7 managed IT services are becoming essential for UK businesses in 2026. https://www.transputec.com/blogs/24-7-managed-it-services-uk-businesses/

65% of employees fear falling behind on AI.
Yet 45% say it feels safer to do nothing.

That's not a technology problem. That's a leadership problem.
Microsoft's 2026 Work Trend Index, analysing trillions of productivity signals and 20,000 workers across 10 countries, calls this the Transformation Paradox: the same forces pushing organisations toward AI are the ones holding them back.

Here's what stood out to us:

- 58% of AI users are producing work they couldn't have a year ago
- Among the most advanced AI users, that number jumps to 80%
- Yet only 1 in 4 employees say their leadership is clearly aligned on AI

And the most important finding of all?

Organisational culture, manager support, and talent practices drive 2x more AI impact than individual behaviour alone.

That means AI adoption isn't a personal skill issue. It's a structural one.

At Transputec, we work with organisations every day that have the tools, Microsoft 365 Copilot, agents, and automation, but haven't yet built the operating model to make them work together.

The gap between what your people can do with AI and what your organisation is built to support is where value gets lost.
We help close it.

If your organisation is navigating this shift, let's talk.

Empower your organization with Microsoft 365 Copilot—AI that bridges human potential and business outcomes for the future of work.

AI isn't just changing technology, it's redefining how businesses manage it.

For years, Managed IT Services meant reactive support. Fix what's broken. Patch what's vulnerable. Wait for the call.

That model is over.

AI-powered Managed IT Services means:

Threats detected before they become breaches

Systems that self-heal and self-optimise 24/7

IT decisions driven by real-time data, not gut instinct

Your team freed from firefighting to focus on growth

We don't treat AI as an add-on, it runs through everything we do, so our clients get IT that works harder for their business.

The question isn't whether AI will transform IT management. It's whether your business will be ready when it does.

Hear it straight from our CEO, Sonny Sehgal, watch the video to see how AI-Based Managed IT Services works and what it could mean for your organisation.

Most IT providers talk about support. Very few talk about accountability.

When businesses outsource IT, they are also outsourcing access to sensitive data, critical systems, and operational resilience. That decision affects compliance, cyber risk, supplier governance, and business continuity.

The challenge is that many SMEs still judge providers on response times and pricing alone.

Accreditations like ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, Crown Commercial, and G-Cloud status are not badges for a website footer. They show how a managed IT services provider operates behind the scenes, manages risk, protects client data, and maintains service standards at scale.

That matters when your business is growing, handling regulated data, or relying on technology to support day-to-day operations.

In our latest blog, we break down the key accreditations businesses should look for when choosing the best managed IT services provider in the UK and what they actually mean in practice.
