Are you training your people in the right things?

It’s easy to book an Excel course, roll out Copilot or invest in Power BI training because a new technology has been introduced.

But the real skills gap might be somewhere else.

Our Training Needs Analysis (TNA) helps businesses identify what their teams can do today, where the gaps are and what skills they actually need to perform more effectively.

We can assess capability across areas including:

• Microsoft 365 - Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Copilot
• Data & Power BI - reporting, analysis and data confidence
• Automation - Power Automate, process improvement and workflow
• Cyber Security - awareness, behaviours and technical capability
• AI - practical adoption, prompting and responsible use
• Digital & technical skills - aligned to specific roles and business objectives

The result is a practical, prioritised training plan, helping you invest in the skills that will have the greatest impact.

Whether you're looking to improve productivity, support digital transformation, introduce new technology or address capability gaps within your existing teams, we can help you understand where to start and what to do next.

AI can help employees do more. But giving them Copilot isn't enough.

Employees are dealing with crowded inboxes, back to back meetings, growing data and less time for focused work.

Microsoft Copilot can help, but access alone doesn't create value. Without practical prompting skills, good review habits and role relevant use cases, adoption can remain patchy.

The opportunity is to turn experimentation into confident everyday practice, helping employees summarise, draft, analyse, present and collaborate more effectively, while keeping human judgement firmly in the process.

At Code Nation, we offer practical AI and Microsoft Copilot training, including:

• AI-3025: Work Smarter with AI
• Microsoft Copilot Beginner & Intermediate
• MS-4004: Empower Your Workforce with Microsoft 365 Copilot Use Cases
• MS-4018: Draft, Analyse, and Present with Microsoft 365 Copilot
• AB-730T00: Transform Business Workflows with Generative AI

The goal isn't simply to give people access to AI. It's to help them use it well.

When More Data still does not mean Better Decisions....📉

Many organisations have no shortage of dashboards, spreadsheets and reports, yet teams still leave meetings with different interpretations of the same figures 🤔

Poor quality data, confusing visuals and a missing “so what?” can slow decisions, weaken stakeholder confidence and allow assumptions to overpower evidence.

The organisations gaining real value from data are not only investing in tools; they are helping employees question information, spot bias, choose meaningful measures and communicate insights as a clear story that leads to action.

If your organisation is facing these challenges, we have courses available to support upskilling and solve these problems.

Cyber Resilience starts with everyday decisions.🖥️

Cyber incidents rarely begin with a dramatic system failure. More often, they start with an ordinary moment: a convincing email, a reused password, an overlooked update or a rushed click.

As organisations become more connected, every employee, supplier and device can affect operational continuity, customer trust and regulatory exposure.

The challenge is not simply buying more security technology; it is building a workforce that recognises risk, makes safer decisions and knows when to report something unusual.

If your organisation is facing these challenges, Code Nation has courses available to support employee upskilling and help solve these problems - everything from Cyber Security Foundations, to certified MS security courses.

The latest ONS data shows that training and retraining existing staff is the most common way businesses are building AI capability.

But there’s a gap.

Only 11% of UK businesses with 10+ employees report that more than half of their workforce has received AI-related training.

That raises an interesting question for employers:

Are you getting the return you expected from the technology you’ve already invested in?

Microsoft 365. Copilot. Power BI. Power Automate. Azure. AI tools.

The technology is there. The opportunity is helping your people use it effectively, confidently and safely in the context of their actual roles.

At Code Nation, we help employers do exactly that - from Microsoft-certified courses for individuals and teams through to bespoke programmes built around your technology, processes and skills gaps.

“But we already have Microsoft…”

We hear this a lot.

And it's true. Many organisations already have access to a huge range of Microsoft tools.

Microsoft 365. Teams. SharePoint. Power BI. Azure. Copilot.

But having the technology and getting value from it are two very different things.

If your teams are still:
📊 Manually creating reports
📁 Searching endlessly for documents
✉️ Spending hours on repetitive admin
📈 Struggling to turn data into useful insight
🤖 Unsure how (or when) to use AI

…the answer might not be another piece of software. It might be better use of the technology you already have.

At Code Nation, we deliver Microsoft accredited training that can be tailored to your organisation, your technology and the way your teams actually work.

Lots of organisations are investing in AI. But are they investing in the people expected to use it?

A new Learning and Work Institute report highlights growing demand for skills alongside falling employer investment in training.

Buying the technology is the easy bit.

The real challenge is helping people use AI confidently, responsibly and productively in their roles.

That could mean using Copilot to save time, helping teams identify where AI can improve processes, or building the confidence to know when not to use it.

AI adoption and workforce development need to happen together.

At Code Nation, we provide AI training for leaders, managers and end users, helping organisations identify practical opportunities, establish effective governance and build the skills needed to turn AI investment into real impact.
