DMPG has donated 50% of expected March profits to key charitable organisations helping Ukrainian refugees and those affected by Putin’s attack. To support those affected by the aggressive invasion in Ukraine, we urge the industry we operate in and fellow SMBs to provide assistance however they can.
At DMPG we pride ourselves on being a transparent and ethical organisation. As such, we cannot and will not stand by as Putin rages on with an unprovoked attack on Ukraine. It is an atrocity on the Ukrainian people, an abhorrent show of carelessness for Russian people and an attack on democracy and freedom worldwide.
DMPG urges our fellow SMBs in Europe to take action to support the humanitarian crisis happening in Ukraine. The actions we have taken as a company so far, are:
1. Provided financial support for relocation to the UK for any DMPG colleague affected by Putin's attack on Ukraine.
2. Verified that none of our clients have links to the Kremlin - any client that did would have been immediately resigned and all future clients will be verified in the same way.
3. Provided financial donations to some of the key charitable organisations supporting Ukrainian refugees and those wounded while protecting freedom and democracy. £20,000 has today been transferred to charities close to the front-lines via the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC). This organisation set up by the UK government will distribute to a select number of charities that include ActionAid, British Red Cross, CARE International UK and many more. Furthermore, the UK government will match donations made up to £20,000,000 meaning that our donation alone has created £40,000 of aid.
We applaud the very sizable and generous donations by the likes of LEGO, Adobe and other global enterprises, however, SMBs represent over 60% of employees in the UK. We are a nimble, innovative ecosystem unconstrained by corporate policies. We have the ability to make great change quickly, at a time when it is most needed.
To all SMBs of Europe...let’s by making the biggest donation of funds we possibly can during March. Whether it's 1% or 100% of profits, it WILL make a difference.
Slava Ukraini,
DMPG Team
