Scammers impersonating AND Digital employees on Telegram

We've received a number of messages and emails over the last week, alerting us to the fact that AND's brand is being impersonated to deceive job seekers. Scammers are actively targeting job boards across Europe and Asia with well-paid data entry roles, then issuing tasks and employment contracts to interested parties via Telegram.

Upon completion of tasks, individuals are being asked to send a 'processing fee' before they can be paid. Once received, scammers are no longer contactable and candidates are never paid for their work.

STAY SAFE:

• AND Digital does not have a Telegram account, nor do any of our recruiters operate via Telegram, Whatsapp or SMS.
• AND Digital recruiters will only use their business email accounts (ending .digital), professional LinkedIn accounts, video conferencing and face-to-face meetings to engage with candidates.
• Never transfer money or share personal details with people you do not know or have not met
• Legitimate roles at AND Digital will always be linked directly from our website or Linkedin account

A wonderful evening spent with Out Together last week, celebrating the launch of their new website! Out Together is a Yorkshire-based charity that champions social inclusion for elderly members of the LGBTQ community; because for how difficult isolation can already be in older age, it's even harder for those who have to come out in the social groups that exist to combat their isolation.
