Thank you to everyone who joined me for the ‘Parole: Acts of Language’ workshop!

It was such a rewarding experience to see how everyone engaged with the process. Whether you had experience with screen printing or were trying it for the first time, it was a pleasure to see you all so focused and creative.

Watching how different ‘paroles’ took shape through the ‘langue’ we formed together was truly fascinating for me. I loved seeing those individual expressions come to life.

A huge thanks to Charlie for the beautiful soundtrack for the session, and to our curator, Jiwoo Jiwoo Kim , for capturing these moments so well.

The ‘langue: forms of language’ exhibition runs until the 25th at Westbourne Grove Church . If you haven’t had a chance to visit yet, do come by and take a look!

I am pleased to invite you to the Parole: Acts of Language Workshop. This free screen printing art workshop will explore language in the form of visual communication by combining your words and images with those of others.

We will share the ‘Langue’—the words, sentences, pictures, and images collected from you and other participants. Using these, you will create your own ‘Parole’ on paper through collage screen printing.

Some words may be in a language you don’t understand, and some images might evoke different meanings or memories for you. This workshop aims to explore how visual language creates meaning for individuals and to observe how the Paroles are read by others.

I also would like you to be part of the workshop.

Please send me your words, sentences, or quotes in any language, as well as images and pictures, by June 14th.

Guidelines:
• For images: black & white is preferred
• Simple images are better
• Copyright-free images only
• High resolution if possible

Your files will be shared and used at the workshop to create posters. The poster images will be shared on Studio TANGLE’s Instagram after the event.

You can participate whether you have signed up for the workshop or not, but attending is highly recommended because it will be a lot of fun!

I’m in the middle of nowhere in Catalonia, Spain, where it’s just me, two cats, and the olive trees.

I‘m working with no Wi-Fi, no printing equipment, and no scanner. Luckily, I have my iPhone and Mac. While cutting paper for stencils, I found myself thinking: you don’t really need every single thing in place just to get things done.

Out here, it‘s just solar panels for electricity and rainwater for a shower or painting.

I am working on something special with my super talented and fun friends. It will be announced soon🙌

13 hours left and I’m getting somewhere..!

So happy to be part of the first Korean Food Festival, “Jung”! 🇰🇷 It’s organized by such a passionate team dedicated to sharing Korean culture. You can find me at the Culture Hub alongside some truly inspiring Korean brands and artists.

The market looks like a huge success—I’ve seen the reels of people queuing for hours!—and I can’t wait to see you all there. Fingers crossed I win the competition so I can grab my favorite Korean snacks! 🤞🍀

Tomorrow, I will be joining my first at Portobello Road. It’s always a great fun to meet you in person and exhibit my art in different places. I hope everyone comes out for a workout before the feast! See you all tomorrow xx
