Usually a good percentage of the work I do involves helping people with the after effects of being scammed online and this week has been even busier with this than usual.

It is important to keep yourself aware of how these scams work and I am always happy to advise people where they are unsure, however there is also a good TV programme for information on scams available free on BBC iPlayer - https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/m00164f1/scam-interceptors
I thoroughly recommend watching it - it may just help you avoid becoming a victim of a scam.
