🚀 Recent website launch!

Full website redesign for Field Farm Fisheries and Campsite

Field Farm Fisheries is a peaceful countryside getaway in the heart of Suffolk — offering a large campsite and several beautiful fishing lakes. Located in Wrentham, it’s just a short trip from Lowestoft, Oulton Broad, Southwold, Gorleston, Beccles, and Great Yarmouth.

The goal for this project was to give their old website a fresh new look in WordPress — showcasing their facilities with stunning imagery, consistent branding, and clear calls to action. Visitors can now easily check pricing and send booking requests online.

Why does accessibility matter in marketing? 🤔

When you think of accessibility, you might think of wheelchair ramps or hearing aids 🦽 While these are definitely important, so many other accessibility accommodations often go overlooked by the majority of people. So what does this look like in web design and marketing? 🖥

Easily the biggest change you can make to your content is the fonts you choose and their environment. A big mistake many new marketers make is to use a display font for your main text. Display fonts are the fun, emotive fonts you might use for a logo or heading, and they’re great in moderation 🎉 When used for whole paragraphs of text though, they can be downright unreadable! 🚫 Instead, it’s best to choose a legible font like Roboto or Open Sans for the bulk of your text ✅ There are even new fonts like Atkinson Hyperlegible, which was specifically designed to be accessible to people with limited vision while still feeling modern and clean.

This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to accessibility, but it's a great way to make your brand accessible to more people 👥 Accessible design makes your content appear more professional, too!
