Paint protection film (PPF) is one of those products that really grabs people’s attention, and for good reason. In this test, we applied PPF to half of a bonnet while leaving the other half completely unprotected. The results speak for themselves.
The filmed side takes the impact of heavy rocks and sharp tools, absorbing the damage and keeping the paintwork underneath untouched. When the film is removed, the scratches come off with it, revealing a flawless finish beneath.
While you’re unlikely to encounter impacts this extreme in everyday driving, PPF is designed with self-healing properties. That means when minor road debris that would causes marks, a little heat allows the film to return to its original, smooth condition, keeping your paint looking its best.
