Tim, George, Dylan and Nils are swapping their office chairs for bike saddles this summer!

LIMA's Lycra Lads are taking on the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride in aid of The Christie Charity's new scanning centre appeal.

That's 60 miles from MediaCityUK in Salford Quays to the iconic Blackpool Glitterball, through the Lancashire countryside, on whatever their legs have left once they can smell the doughnuts!

The Christie is one of Europe's leading cancer centres, and the new scanning centre will mean faster scans, quicker diagnoses and better outcomes for cancer patients across the region. Every pound raised goes directly towards making that happen.

If you can spare a few pounds to cheer them on from the comfort of your sofa, they'd be incredibly grateful. No amount is too small, and every donation gets them one step closer to the finish line, and one step closer to world-class care for patients who need it most.

Green fingers for a great cause!

Today saw LIMA's own Magnificent Seven rolling up their sleeves in support of Maggie's Centres in Manchester.

The team got busy cleaning, sweeping, jet washing, weeding and hacking back bamboo like jungle explorers!

Maggie's has been one of our chosen charities at LIMA for a number of years now. It's a wonderful organisation that provides a sanctuary for people undergoing treatment for cancer, and their family and friends.

The centres are designed to offer a homely, welcoming and supportive space to help during what can be incredibly difficult moments.

Thanks to everyone at Maggie's for being so welcoming to our team every time we visit, and we hope our efforts help keep the gardens in top condition for your visitors!

Everyone at LIMA can take volunteering days during the year to support either one of our chosen charities, or a cause that's close to their heart.

A warm welcome to our new Sales Account Director, Alex Graham!

Alex brings years of IT industry experience to LIMA, most recently as a New Business Account Director at Vohkus (part of SCC). He knows the MSP world inside out and we're confident he's going to hit the ground running.

Speaking of hitting the ground, in his spare time Alex plays scrum-half for Bury RUFC, and any remaining hours in the week are spent being walked around Greater Manchester by his 1-year-old Labrador, Freddie!

Members of team LIMA joined Bolton Wanderers FC on Saturday for the first leg of their League One playoff semi-final.

Our crew had a brilliant evening at the Toughsheet Community Stadium as the Trotters look to secure promotion to the Championship!

This is just the beginning of a developing partnership between LIMA and Bolton Wanderers Football Club. More on that soon!

The shirt presentation was a lovely touch. Not sure any of our attendees will be competing for a starting shirt any time soon though...

The 2026 Cyber Essentials update is the most significant in recent years.

Two of the changes in particular are worth paying close attention to.

As of now, failing to apply "high" and "critical" patches within 14 days will result in an automatic assessment failure.

Meanwhile, MFA on cloud services moves to auto-fail status. If it's available within the service and you haven't enabled it, the assessment fails on the spot.

Great springtime energy today at LIMA HQ as we reflect on a strong Q1 for the business.

Updates on our key “Map to Modernise” project, planned improvements to employee benefits and investments in systems and training have got the whole team buzzing.

The sensational lunch from the gyros van was just the icing on the cake!

A huge well done to George Ayre for picking up our employee of the quarter award for Q1. George exemplifies each of our core behaviours and is an all-round LIMA legend!
