We are Come Through Lab, an independent photographic lab based in Ancoats, Manchester. Born out of a desire to provide a much needed service to Manchester's artists, photographers and creatives. We combine the experience and expertise of a pro lab with the speed and ease of a mini lab; maintaining the professionalism and highest quality service but in an accessible, affordable and inclusive way.

Image and project Description:

The image attached is of my sister and a stranger we met playing a traditional game we call nsolo. Behind them is The Lookout Tree. This ancient giant boabab tree is estimated to be 1,000 to 2,000 years old. It is a local meeting place and popular tourist attraction with a raised viewing platform, located near the Victoria Falls.

This image captures a moment that perfectly presents the culture and community I come from and though isn’t currently included in my ongoing project I AM BECAUSE WE ARE, it aligns directly with the project that presents the joy and that exists within the Black communities that show our connection to a common nurture that’s greater than our individual selves.

Many of you will recognise this pub as it was a favourite last of the roll for many years, formerly the Shamrock it is now back open as the Spinners Rest and let me tell you it’s magnificent, we where fortunate enough to pop down to the opening and have smashed it, here’s to a few at the spinners rest, process and a pint anyone?
