🎨 Calling local artists!

Love Urmston and the Urmston Partnership are looking for an artist or artists to help bring the history of Urmston, Flixton and Davyhulme to life through a new community-led heritage trail.

With a £4,500 commission, the project will see a minimum of five creative trail points developed across M41, celebrating local people, places, stories and heritage, with the community playing a key part in shaping the final work.

Think sculptures, mosaics, paintings, wood carvings, collages or something completely different. We’re open to creative interpretation!

📩 To apply, send examples of previous work, proposed budget and delivery schedule to [email protected]

📅 Deadline: 31 October 2026

Mutznutz is 19 today and I’m incredibly proud to celebrate. I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me and my business over the years. This milestone marks not only my 19th year in business but also a career spanning over 30 years in the design industry. Thank you 🥳

I’ve been a little (okay… very) quiet on here lately. The school holidays are in full swing, and keeping the boys entertained while making sure all things design keep moving is always a bit of a juggling act. One I wouldn’t change for the world.

One of the biggest reasons I started my own business was to have the flexibility to be there for my boys. School pick-ups, helping out at school, watching daytime plays and sports days… those moments have meant everything.

I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve built with Mutznutz Creative Design, not just as a business, but because it’s allowed me to be present throughout their childhood while doing a job I genuinely love.

Now, if I can just survive the rest of the summer holidays with everyone still smiling, I’ll call that a win! 😊
