I can’t believe our very first book club meeting is just one week away! 🥰 I’m so excited to finally meet you all and get together for an evening of books, chats and hopefully lots of laughs!

I’m currently only halfway through and I cannot wait to hear what everyone thinks!

📚✨ A weekend in Edinburgh = a book haul! ✨📚

I spent the weekend exploring Edinburgh, and of course I couldn’t resist visiting as many bookshops as possible! Safe to say I came home with a pretty good haul. 😅📖

One of my favourite finds was the latest Heartstopper book, which I was so excited to discover had been signed by Alice Oseman after a recent author visit! 💛 I also couldn’t resist picking up a Blind Date with a Book. I love the mystery of not knowing what you’re about to read.

My favourite bookshops from the trip were Lighthouse Bookshop Edinburgh and bookloversbookshop .If you’re ever in Edinburgh, I’d definitely recommend adding them to your itinerary!

Now I just need to find time to read all these new books... 🤭📚

A few bookish facts about me...

📖 Favourite genre: Fantasy and Horror
📚 Current read: The Miniaturist By Jessie Burton
⭐ Favourite book: Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier
✍️ Auto-buy author: V.E Schwab or Taylor Jenkins Reid
☕ Reading drink of choice: Chai Latte
Fun fact: I was born on Halloween 🎃

My hope for this book club is to build a friendly community where everyone feels welcome. There'll be no pressure, just good books (hopefully), great conversations and a chance to meet fellow book lovers.

Our first meeting is on Wednesday 26th August at The Acre Pub, March, and I'd love to see you there!

I'm always looking to add more books to my ever-growing TBR, so I'd love to hear what you've been reading recently!

I recently finished I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman, and I honestly couldn't put it down, I read it in just two day! It was such a thought-provoking read that has really stayed with me, and I know I'll be thinking about it for a long time.
