🔥 A huge well done to Devizes Fire Station! 🔥

On Saturday just gone, the team completed an 8-mile walk in full kit to raise funds for The Fire Fighters Charity! 👏

We’re especially proud of our very own Josh, who took part in the challenge alongside his fellow firefighters - showing incredible dedication to a fantastic cause (and has the blisters to prove it! 👨‍🚒❤️)

TALKWIRE CHARITY SUPPORT DAY!

Our recent volunteering session in Melksham was a resounding success. 🙌

The opportunity enabled members of our team to support a very local cause at the nearby Canberra Children’s Centre. The centre is owned and run by Young Melksham, and offers a wealth of positive activities for young people based locally.

The afternoon focused on preparing meeting spaces to be fit for purpose. Some of the key tasks included tidying cabling and wall trunking, moving heavy office equipment, re-locating power and data outlets, and removing redundant kit. Each task contributed to improving the space, creating a better environment for counselling sessions to be held.

A big thank you to all involved! It enabled us to invest in our local community, supporting our CSR values in the process.

🎉🌿Celebrating VE Day🌿🎉

Today, we commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day. To honour this historic milestone, our team brought a touch of that wartime spirit to the office with an indoor picnic and a fun themed quiz – congratulations to winners Neil and James! (sorry Jamie and Pete)

During lunch, everyone shared good company, laughs, and took a moment to reflect on the resilience and sacrifices of those who fought for our freedom. A big thank you to all our staff for embracing this special event with enthusiasm and spirit!

On Saturday, 8th March, our colleague Jason proudly participated in the ‘Men’s Walk to Support,’ joining hundreds of others in a powerful display of unity and compassion for Dorothy House Hospice. This 8-mile journey began at the hospice in Winsley, winding through picturesque countryside and along the tranquil canal paths before concluding in the heart of Bath.
But this walk was about more than just the miles. Every step taken helped raise vital funds to support patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses and ensure they receive the care and comfort they deserve. Thanks to the dedication of all who participated, an incredible £73,400 has already been raised for this vital cause.
A huge congratulations to Jason and everyone who took part!

Congratulations to Graham, who after almost 14 years at Talkwire has turned his computer off for the final time.... retirement awaits! 🎉 Graham has been nothing short of pivotal. His unwavering dedication, financial expertise, and positive attitude have left a lasting mark on Talkwire.

As Graham trades spreadsheets for seedlings, we know he’ll be looking forward to some serious allotment time 🌱 spending time with his family 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 and frequenting a certain pastry shop 😉
