We're thrilled to be part of the Manchester Festival of Coaching, taking place at various venues across the city! This week-long event offers activities, events, and workshops aimed at inspiring, engaging, and supporting the next generation of sports coaches and leaders.

Join John Winder from Competence, who brings 20 years of experience in community and professional coaching. John will share his expertise on creating an inclusive culture and discuss how environment and culture play a crucial role in driving development and performance.

John shares, “Culture is a word that is synonymous with coaching and sport and is often the driving force behind many clubs and organisations. The workshop will give us a chance to support and develop coaches within Greater Manchester to better understand how this can be created, supported and developed, whilst understanding the benefits of doing this in an inclusive environment.”

In our latest video, we meet with the Head of Education at Blackburn Rovers and see how a centralised platform helps when managing learning tasks. The Competence app keeps everything in one place, making it easy to track progress and ensure nothing gets lost. It is used by all learners at the 72 professional football clubs in the English Football League
