Last week, we headed to the NEC Birmingham alongside the wider Crime Prevention Services Group to attend The Security Show 2026 🔐💻

It was a great opportunity to catch up with suppliers, explore the latest developments across security, software and network infrastructure, and have some really interesting conversations around how quickly the industry is evolving.

One thing that stood out throughout the event was just how heavily the future of security is now relying on networks, cloud connectivity and AI-powered technologies, and the growing importance of keeping these systems secure, resilient and properly managed.

As physical security and IT continue to merge closer together, events like this are a brilliant reminder of why joined-up, people-first support matters more than ever.

It was great to attend the latest West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce round table networking event at -SParc in Gaerwen, Anglesey yesterday.

A really enjoyable morning catching up with familiar faces, introducing The tecdesk, and connecting with new local businesses across the region.

There were some valuable conversations around cyber security, particularly how a secure IT setup can directly impact compliance, and in turn influence funding, bids, tenders and wider business opportunities.

It was also brilliant to hear such positive feedback on our people-first approach to IT support, and the importance of honest, transparent advice in what can often feel like a complex space.
