🤝 The right solution starts with teamwork.
When Geoffrey Robinson Limited began electrical upgrades at Royal Bolton Hospital, the team faced a challenging cable management situation beneath the hospital.
The underground service tunnel presented a demanding combination of heat, damp and humid conditions that had already caused visible corrosion to the existing metal cable tray.
Finding a solution that could perform reliably in this environment was very much a team effort. Working together, Geoffrey Robinson Limited, Marshall-Tufflex Ltd and our Blackburn branch team assessed the requirements and identified a practical, long lasting alternative to traditional metal containment.
The solution? Basor PVC Cable Tray — a robust, non-metallic system offering excellent corrosion resistance while remaining practical to install in the challenging tunnel environment.
⚡ 1 km of PVC cable tray was supplied through our Blackburn branch and installed to support lightweight data cabling as part of the hospital’s wider M&E upgrades.
A great example of what can be achieved when contractors, suppliers and manufacturers work together to understand the challenge and find the right solution for the job. 💚
