At the end of last year we marked our 20th Anniversary with a retrospective showcase — https://defaultblue.com — highlighting the people and projects that have helped shape the business and get us where we are today.

Default Blue officially launched late 2001 and we were almost 10 years in before we produced our own promotional brochure, pictured here!

The cover depicts a boring grey pigeon transformed into a bright and more colourful version of itself through the power of design. We thought this was the perfect visual metaphor for what we do for our clients.

We're currently working away on our new website but in the meantime we'll be sharing more examples of past projects such as this!

As 2021 comes to a close it hasn't given us a great deal to celebrate, but it does mark 20 years since we first launched Default Blue.

Like all studios, It's been quite a ride with plenty of ups and downs, working with so many wonderful and interesting clients across so many different sectors. One of which has been with us for over 15 of those years!

A massive thank you to everyone that has been part of this incredible journey so far.

Also taking this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year. See you in 2022!
