🛑 No Sim or No Network after the iOS 26 Update? We've Got Your Fix! 🛑
Many users are experiencing connectivity issues after updating to the latest Apple iOS 26 (2025) software. Don't panic! Follow these 5 steps, which resolve the issue 99% of the time, especially since the latest software may be optimized for 5G networks and might not fully support older 4G SIM cards.
Here are the steps to restore your service:
1. Put Aeroplane Mode On & Off!
Toggle Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, then turn it off. This often forces the phone to re-establish a connection.
2. Take Your Sim Card Out & Insert!
Eject your SIM card, inspect it (and the tray) for any dust, then reinsert it firmly.
3. Reset Network Settings!
Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note: This will erase saved Wi-Fi passwords and cellular settings.
4. Force Restart!
Perform a force restart on your specific iPhone model. (Usually, press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the side button until the Apple logo appears.)
5. Change your sim to 5G Network!
CRITICAL STEP: If you are still having issues, contact your carrier and upgrade your physical SIM card to a 5G compatible one. The new iOS 26 software is optimized for 5G, and this step is often the final key to resolution!
